Job Details
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help design, build, and maintain our web applications across both the front end and back end. The ideal candidate will work primarily in React, Node.js, and TypeScript, and will be comfortable incorporating AI-assisted development tools into their daily workflow.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement user interfaces using React.
- Develop server-side logic and APIs using Node.js, and integrate them into the application.
- Write clean, well-typed, and testable TypeScript code.
- Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor etc) to support coding, debugging, and code review, while maintaining a clear understanding and ownership of all code shipped to production.
- Work with databases and data models to manage data storage and retrieval.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments.
- Support the deployment of applications to production, with attention to security and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with the design and product teams to ensure the final product aligns with requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience building web applications in an agile environment, with hands-on experience in React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools, along with the judgment to know when to rely on their output and when to apply independent review.
- Able to work independently on well-defined tasks, while also being proactive in raising questions or seeking clarification on ambiguous requirements early in the process.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests as part of the development process.
- Comfortable diagnosing and resolving production issues in a timely manner.
