Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Software Project Coordinator to join our Islamabad Office, Pakistan. The Software Project Coordinator will serve as a key communication proxy between the development team, stakeholders, and management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, be tech-savvy, and have a solid understanding of software development life cycle stages. The responsibilities include:
- Act as a communication bridge between the development team, clients, management, ensuring effective and timely exchange of project-related information.
- Facilitate weekly and monthly status updates, ensuring that project progress is accurately communicated to stakeholders and management.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely completion.
- Identify and communicate project risks, issues, and blockers to relevant stakeholders, and collaborate on mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the coordination of project meetings, including scheduling, agenda creation, and documentation of meeting minutes and action items.
- Ensure that project documentation, such as requirements, specifications, and project plans, is accurate, up to date, and accessible to the relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on project metrics, such as progress, quality, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that project tasks are clearly defined, assigned, and understood.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in software development and project management methodologies.
Requirements
- Ideally, education from a reputable institution or previous experience working with US-based companies.
- Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of software technologies, preferably from a computer science background, but not necessary.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a software development environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Extremely thorough with exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, preferably Jira.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project-related issues.
