Job Type: Full Time
Job Location: Pakistan - Islamabad
Job Details
Join our team as a DevOps Engineer, where you will own infrastructure, deployment, and security across multiple client engagements simultaneously. With your expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and security practices, you will help ensure our systems remain reliable, scalable, and secure at every stage of delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS) across multiple concurrent client projects, using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or Pulumi) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Own security independently across all client environments. IAM policies, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, patching, and access controls without relying on other roles to define security requirements.
- Own production monitoring, alerting, and incident response, including on-call rotation, for both uptime/performance issues and security events.
- Conduct periodic security audits and drive remediation, and maintain documentation for infrastructure, security policies, and incident runbooks.
- Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to speed up infrastructure and troubleshooting work, while retaining full ownership and understanding of anything applied to production.
- Work independently across concurrent projects, proactively surfacing ambiguous requirements or risks early rather than proceeding on assumptions.
Requirements
- 3+ years in a DevOps, or infrastructure role, with demonstrated independent ownership of security.
- Strong hands-on AWS experience, including core deployment services and AWS security tooling (IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, or equivalent).
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, at least one IaC tool, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of vulnerability scanning and secrets management (e.g., AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault).
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools professionally, with sound judgment on when to verify output manually especially for production or security changes.
- Experience with on-call/incident response, strong troubleshooting skills, and clear written communication for documentation and incident reporting.
Benefits
- Company-paid lunch facility
- Healthcare benefits
- Provident Fund (Employer Matching)
- Bonus & annual raise program
- Paid training and certifications
- Vacation & personal paid leave
